1. General Terms
The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Dawah Travels, and the term “you” refers to the customer visiting our website, booking a reservation, or otherwise using our services. These terms apply to all customers of Dawah Travels and its affiliated companies.
2. Booking & Payment
a) Day Tours: Dawah Travels confirms your booking when full payment has been made by you. Once we accept your booking and receive the full payment, the contract between Dawah Travels and the customer becomes legally binding.
b) Multi-Day Tours: For multi-day tours, a booking is confirmed when a 50% deposit is made. Once Dawah Travels receives the deposit, the contract is binding. The remaining 50% is due before the tour starts or prior to departure.
3. Client Responsibility
a) Upon booking a tour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
b) You also confirm that you are physically able to participate in all activities outlined in your itinerary and are responsible for following the instructions given by Dawah Travels staff.
c) If you are booking on behalf of others (e.g., children under 18), you accept full responsibility for them, including any damages caused by them. Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
4. Our Liability & Compensation
a) Dawah Travels accepts liability for direct physical injury caused by the negligence of its employees, subject to the limits set by local laws.
b) We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages to property resulting from events beyond our control, such as flight cancellations, bad weather, vehicle accidents, strikes, sickness, government actions, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable circumstances.
By confirming your booking with Dawah Travels, you acknowledge that we have taken all reasonable steps to safeguard our liability, but we cannot be held accountable for circumstances that are beyond our control.
5. Cancellation Policy
a) For multi-day tours and group tours, the advance deposit is non-refundable. It covers the costs of cancellations, including third-party reservations and payment processing fees.
b) The original duration of the booked tour cannot be shortened but can be extended.
If Dawah Travels cancels a tour, no cancellation fee will apply, and full refunds will be issued, excluding any non-refundable third-party charges.
c) Cancellation requests must be made in writing (via email or letter).
6. Changes and Cancellations by Dawah Travels
a) We reserve the right to modify or cancel any aspect of the services provided before you enter into a contract with us, including changes to facilities or services listed on our website.
b) Dawah Travels also reserves the right to cancel or change a booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, technical issues, or other factors outside of our control.
c) If a major change occurs (e.g., change in departure time or cancellation of the tour), we will inform you as soon as possible. You may choose to:
i) Accept the change in arrangements,
ii) Choose an alternate tour, or
iii) Cancel your booking under the terms outlined in our Cancellation Policy.
7. Change Fees
a) Once the itinerary is confirmed, it is advised not to make changes to avoid delays and complications. However, if you request a change to a confirmed booking, Dawah Travels reserves the right to charge change fees, depending on the nature and timing of the request.
b) If the number of days in the tour is extended, additional charges will apply, as determined by Dawah Travels.
8. Tour Participation
a) You agree to follow the instructions of our staff and cooperate with any safety or operational guidelines during the tour.
b) Dawah Travels reserves the right to exclude any passenger from the tour if their actions, behavior, or physical condition could pose a risk to themselves, other participants, or the successful operation of the tour.
9. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover the potential risks associated with travel, including cancellations, accidents, and medical emergencies. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have appropriate coverage.
